What is Numerology?



Numerology is any of many systems, convention or sentiment in the esoteric relationship between numbers and physical objects or living things. The history of numerology is a little cloudy, no definite answer as to where it first appeared. Many recognize numerologists Egypt and Babylon, as previously recorded history of its use, and this is where the Chaldean system was designed with the influence of the Hebrew language.

Credit for the modern numerology, however, often given to the Greek philosopher Pythagoras. He regarded the universe as consisting of mathematical models and was firmly convinced that everything can be expressed in figures, which correspond to the energy patterns of vibration, thought that the matter is mathematical. He suspected the whole universe can be made public through the numbers, and made a system which was then extended to other Greek philosophers.

Instead of targeting transcripts of mathematical problems, as the present day mathematicians, Pythagoras was often interested in ideas or beliefs in mathematics. Although Pythagoras did not invent the numerology of his hypothesis he took it to another level, and therefore he is often credited with being a dad numerology. The Kabbalah, Chaldean and Pythagorean are 3 of the most well-liked numerological system in use.

1 - The Kabbalah originated in Hebrew mysticism, and translates only the meaning of the name. It was designed for the Greek alphabet, then further adapted to the Latin alphabet. Since this system analyzes only the name but not the date of birth, it is not commonly used in numerology. In Chaldean numerology, compound numbers always.

2 - Chaldean Numerology was originally developed in Ancient Babylon, now Iraq, and mixes the Kabbalistic interpretation of the name of the aspects of astrology. Each room comes from the name and date of birth and is associated with the planets and the sun. Chaldean numerology uses a number formula based on the finding that, from 1 to 8 letters of the alphabet are not allocated to the number nine as the number nine is regarded as sacred or holy, so he kept away from other vibrations, except when it leads, the latter amount.

3 - Pythagorean numerology is the most common system used today. Pythagorean numerology analyzes the name and date of birth as well as the interaction between the two.
